Location: Overlooking the Cornia Valley and situated near the coast at Massa Marittima the castello is just a short drive from Siena and Lucca while Pisa (70km) can be reached in under an hour by car; with international airports at Rome (250km) and Florence (150km).

A majestic gated entrance and graveled drive lead you through the private secluded grounds to the impressive main entrance and vaulted inner hall. With its many rooms and ten air conditioned ensuite bedrooms guests can relax and enjoy this exclusive retreat. The Castello offers a true taste of Tuscan history with a range of exquisite paintings, collections of armour and antique furniture.

This grand property makes it an ideal venue for family gatherings or corporate hospitality events. The rental rate makes provision for the property to be fully-staffed, including a chauffeur for the Castello’s Mercedes MPV available to guests for airport collection and day trips.

If you wish to explore the coast, the castle has its own 36-foot motorboat.

The Castello staff can arrange trips and guided tours to Massa Marittima, Pisa, Lucca, Siena and Florence, local medieval villages, the ruins at Poplulonia, the local natural and archaeological park or to the historically important wineries in Bolgheri such as Sassicaia and Ornellaia, with wine tasting can all be organised by the staff.
