DESCRIPTION
Location: Orvieto can easily be reached from the airports of Rome (approx. 1.5 hours drive), Florence and nearby Perugia.
The Autostrada del Sole, which connects Rome and Florence, passes near to Orvieto which is less than 15 minutes from the property.
Together the main villa and the suites accommodate 36 people.
Villa Isabella: On the ground floor the light spacious entrance hall with original Carrara marble flooring leads to the dining room, downstairs cloakroom and light, airy living room with it’s stunning views and doors opening onto the private walled garden. A second, smaller living-room/studio provides television and music facilities including an antique piano.
The kitchen is well equipped with two large fridge freezers and gas cooker (range style) an antique marble table (seats 10) and traditional Italian coffee machine. From the storage/laundry room steps lead to a small family chapel.
On the first floor the spacious four ensuite bedrooms have comfortable furnishings, one with a private lounge offering satellite television and a small balcony. The bathrooms tiles are handmade. All bedrooms have amazing views across the surrounding countryside.
The Courtyard Suites: The 5 suites are spacious and tastefully decorated to a high standard. With tiled floors providing a cool interior in the heat of summer and log fires (with additional central heating) for the cooler months. Each suite has a fully kitchen and living area. The bathrooms are fully tiled with the larger suites having two bathrooms.
A swimming pool is at the guests disposal with a shady equipped veranda and surrounded by a garden planted with English roses and a field of olive trees.
