An historic Spanish tower erected to protect against  the Saracens, perched commandingly above the coast of Tuscany with views of the Island of Elba.

The tower has been rebuilt and restored over the centuries.

Originally used as lookout tower against the barbarian incursions this solid, ancient building was perfectly situated as a sea defence, and now provides a tranquil and isolated retreat for those desiring seclusion.
